The Nevada Interagency Advisory Council on Homelessness

A.B. 174 establishes The Nevada Interagency Advisory Council on Homelessness to Housing.

The Nevada Catholic Conference requests that Sec. 3 of A.B. 174, which establishes the members of the Advisory Council, be amended to include representatives of one, or more, large service providers, who are involved in the transition of persons from homelessness to housing.

In submitting this request, the Nevada Catholic Conference notes that Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, has been very involved in the transition of homeless persons to housing, in Clark County, and is interested in working as a member of the Advisory Council which will be created by A.B. 174.
