Statement on the Passing of Question 6

LAS VEGAS (Nov. 6, 2024) — The Nevada Catholic Conference is deeply disappointed by the passing of Question 6, the abortion ballot initiative in Nevada. This outcome is disheartening for those who believe in the sanctity of life and the sacred rights of parents to oversee the lives of their minor children. However, with unwavering faith, hope and determination we will continue our efforts to advocate for the protection of these important values.   As we look ahead to the next voting cycle, we remain steadfast in fostering greater awareness and mobilizing the support necessary to ensure these vital values are protected in the State of Nevada.
